In the Electron Beam furnace or Vacuum Arc Reduction furnace, the sponge is melted with metal elements such as tin, aluminum, vanadium, zirconium, and molybdenum. It will create re-melting electrodes that can be die-cast or VAR melted into slabs\u2014 the titanium bar resulting from further processing of cast or forged slab.<\/p>\n
